In 2020, when we switched to perma-work-from-home mode for good, I marked the last date I was in the office in my calendar.

Today I was in the office for the firs time since then. The date marked was 10th September 2020.

Somewhat surreal.

So uhm, Visual Studio 2019 Community comes with built-in support for Nuget package manager.

Except I had to manually add api.nuget.org/v3/index.json as a package source in order for a C# project to compile.

Like, why, Microsoft?

It's like downloading Microsoft Paint and having to download color palette separately.

"Investors" and all the others who say "start investing in Bitcoin" in 2021...

When I was collecting my first satoshis in mid 2010s I thought I was already late to the party. Meanwhile none of you douchebags at that time could spell 'crypto' correctly.

Scammy idiots.

I had no idea setting up a Twitch stream from a console was this complicated.

It's nearly impossible to get it right without tons of troubleshoooting and even then there's still a lot of magic behind different settings.

All I wanted was to play an old Mario game on my Nintendo Switch.

Okay, this post-vaccine day was super rough.

First vaccine shot done. No side effects. Next shot at the end of July.

I have particular talent to breaking cheap Chinese microphone stands. Time to buy a solid one I guess.

Aaaaand we have a vaccine appointment. Tomorrow.

I don't always read spam mails but when I do, they're entertaining. I didn't know I had a new cool first name.

(the mail was sent to [email protected]_of_my_domains.net)

Also, the true definition of laziness is leaving the PC on and shutting it down via VNC on your phone before going to sleep.

Sometimes I hate JavaScript.

I usually love it, but in 2 cases of 10 it feels like having sex with a hedgehog.

Yes Mr Spammer, it's absolutely probable I use internet services from a provider in Canada and forgot to pay the invoice.

Lukem boosted

Opting my websites out of FLoC.

I want to believe it makes any difference but I'm too cynical these days.

A SIM card tray in one of my phones broke and got stuck in a way I can't get it out.

To open up the phone I need a heat gun and a set of iFixit tools, none of which I own or plan to purchase because I don't want to buy a cow to have a carton of milk.

Since 2016 I'm trying to figure out what exactly I gained in exchange for easily repleacable battery and accessible card slots.

Not the kind of feeling I cherish, but reading the news about 2019 Facebook data breach I feel relieved I quit the platform for good in mid 2010s and pi-holed all of its hosts at home.
